Model claims rough encounter with Geneva Lopez’s boyfriend

The search for missing Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga 2024 candidate, Geneva Lopez, continues as new information surfaces.

On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, a person identifying herself as a runway model and going by the name of Irish Marimla, uploaded a series of screenshots claiming to have encountered Geneva’s Israeli boyfriend Yitshak Cohen in March and May this year.

In a now-deleted Facebook post, the screenshots reveal portions of Irish’s Instagram chat with Yitshak.

According to the screenshots, the Israeli national first contacted Marimla on March 14.

During this interaction, he allegedly inquired about Marimla’s line of work and how she was “making money.”

Irish chose to ignore his questioning at the time, explaining, “Hindi na ako nag-reply sa kanya that time [kasi] alam ko mayaman at hindi papatol sa isang katulad ko.”

However, almost two months later on May 6, Irish recounts Yitshak hitting her up on Instagram again, trying to persuade her to be a part of his business as a model and sponsor of his brand.

She narrates in her caption: “And after that, he asked me if I wanted to hang out and look around here in Pampanga, and I said to him, maybe in another day, because I’m going to school every Monday to Friday,

“After that conversation, Saturday night, we met in front of Nepo Mall, Angeles City. He [picked me up] with his red car and the plate number is AMA 7399,” she recalls.

Looking back, Irish trusted her instincts to keep her distance from him after sensing “masamang kutob.”

“He [was] trying to convince me [to] go in [the] car and go to his house [or] hotel, and I said to him, ‘No, it’s okay, I will go home ’cause my mom [is] looking for me at 10 p.m.’ and then he [got] mad [at] me,” she says.

“Sa coffee shop pa lang, gusto [ko na] umuwi kaso ang dami niya [ikinuwento sa akin] kaya napaisip ako na nililibang niya ako.

“Pero point talaga ni Guy dito ay pipilitin ka niyang sumama sa kanya [kasi] marami pa daw [kami] pag-uusapan, kaso di ako sumama dahil bigla akong nakaramdam ng masamang kutob.”

Apart from the screenshots, Irish substantiated her claims with a video of a man aggressively grabbing a woman until she fell on her side by the roadside with a scream.

According to Irish, the man and woman in the footage are Yitshak and her, respectively.

“Bigla [siyang] bumababa sa car [niya] at ayan ang ginawa [niya sa akin]… siguro nagawa [niya sa akin] yun dahil hindi ako sumama at pumayag na mag-look around [sa] Angeles City,” she elaborates in her caption.

In the comments section under her post, Irish also asserts that she has an idea of how things transpired between Yitshak and Geneva.

“I know na kung anong gagawin [niya] kay Geneva Lopez dahil yan din sinabi [niya sa akin], he want to go in other country with me,” she writes.

Concluding her side, she expresses her grief in having to carry this unforgettable memory by herself.

“Hindi niya pa napapanagutan ang ginawa niya sa ‘kin that time at hindi ko na nasabi sa family ko dahil makakadagdag lang sa problema namin, at hindi ko alam gagawin ko.

“Katapos ng pangyayari, mas pinili kong sarilihin na lang itong nangyari sa ‘kin.”

GENEVA’S DISAPPEARANCE

Geneva was first reported to be missing on June 21, 2024, via the Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga Organization Facebook page.

It stated how the Sto. Tomas, Pampanga representative and her boyfriend Yitshak have gone missing.

A portion of the announcement reads: “URGENT Notice to the Public!!!

“It is with serious concern that we announce the disappearance of Ms. Geneva Sarita Lopez, one of the official candidates for this year’s Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga 2024 representing Sto. Tomas, Pampanga, who has been reported missing since June 21.

“We would like to clarify that we had no official schedule of activities during the said date as it was alloted for the candidates’ rest.

“The Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga Organization assures the public on the frequent monitoring with police authorities for any updates regarding her whereabouts.”

The following day, June 22, the Bureau of Fire Protection in Tarlac responded to a burning car, finding belongings of the missing couple.

GMA Regional TV reports that among the items found were Geneva’s ATM card and ID picture.

Furthermore, no individuals were found at the scene of the incinerated vehicle.
