The Orlando Magic are set to host the Golden State Warriors on Thursday at 7 p.m. for the next game at the Kia Center. While the clash looks exciting, fans are curious about Stephen Curry’s status for the game.

The Warriors are coming with a record of 31-27 as they are positioned eighth in the Western Conference and have won six out of their last seven games. All of that has happened since acquiring Jimmy Butler via trade. But the good thing is, Curry is not listed in the injury report and he will play against the Magic.

Though they have a couple of injury concerns already. Trayce Jackson-Davis is questionable due to illness, having played in only five of the last 12 games. Jonathan Kuminga remains out with a right ankle sprain, an injury that has sidelined him since January 4.
During the Warriors last game against the Charlotte Hornets, Curry had a good show. He scored 15 points, four rebounds, six assists and one steal all in his 24 minutes of play. The superstar also had two turnovers, went 6 for 14 shooting, and made 2 for 9 in threes. Though he made 1 for 1 free throw.
Kevin Durant Says He Knew Stephen Curry’s Game Plan Olympic Gold Medal Run
Stephen Curry had a good time playing along with Kevin Durant. The duo spent some good years at the Warriors camp, and the bond still runs. Recently, the Phoenix Suns superstar acknowledged Curry’s master plan during Team USA’s Olympic gold medal run.
Durant enjoyed a unique and rewarding experience at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, where he reunited with Curry on the international stage. Despite their hiatus from playing together since 2019, Durant instantly felt a connection with Curry.
“I feel like I was the only one on the court that knew what he was thinking. It’s like we didn’t have to say much, but I kind of knew,” Durant said. “That’s from all those years playing together, watching film together, and figuring out (expletive) out, that was cool to feel again. We worked our way up at Golden State, where we didn’t have to talk to each other, I kind of knew what he was thinking and vice versa.”
The chemistry between Durant and Curry proved to be instrumental in Team USA’s perfect run in Paris, which led to a gold medal. Curry led the team in scoring, averaging 14.8 points per game, while Durant contributed significantly with an average of 13.8 points.
Curry’s exceptional shooting, which stood nearly 48% from beyond the arc, proved crucial at a time when it mattered most. Together, Durant and Curry restored their previous teamwork and made it into a winning formula.
