Montreal Canadiens fans are really going to fall in love with  At 20 years old, he already plays like a guy ready for the NHL.

This season with the Laval Rocket, he scored 20 goals and racked up over 150 penalty minutes.

It’s simple, he’s a true power forward and very effective on the ice. What I like about him is that he’s a real hard worker.

He trained a lot this summer with his brother Arber, and he put on 15 pounds of muscle, worked on his speed, and built up his strength.

Florian knew he’d be facing men for the first time, and he did everything he could to be ready. To me, that shows just how serious he is, and clearly, it worked.

Florian Xhekaj actually said he wants to be like Tom Wilson, a guy who scores goals, delivers big hits, and is tough to play against.

Just listening to him speak, you can feel the fire inside him. He wants to give it everything he’s got to make it to the NHL quickly, and I think he’s really close.

The night the Tkachuk brothers took over against Canada on the Bell Centre ice, Arber texted me: “Hey, man. Did you see that?” I replied: “That was insane! We’ll get there.”

What’s even more interesting is the relationship he has with Arber.

They live together in Montreal, they motivate each other, give each other advice after games.. It’s like Arber wants his brother to become even better than him.

It would be incredible to see them on the same team. Two guys who hit, dominate, and perfectly represent what the Habs want to be!

Florian says he could see himself on a line with Josh Anderson and Jake Evans, an intense, fast, and intimidating trio.

I hope it happens soon.
