Kris Aquino, the Philippines’ beloved “Queen of All Media,” has once again touched the hearts of her supporters after revealing new and concerning updates about her ongoing health battles.

On Friday, May 10, Kris took to Instagram to share both a video and a candid message about her current condition, which she described as “medyo sad news” to her genuine fans and supporters.

In the video, her son Bimby Aquino could be seen with comedienne K Brosas and Loi Villarama—friends who have since stepped up to cover for her during this difficult time and health crisis.

Kris began by expressing her gratitude to while being transparent about her health, “I do have some medyo sad news about my [condition], but I will continue to do my very best para LUMABAN at hindi sumuko. You will see my journey because kayo ang prayer warrior warriors ko.”

The former TV host and actress then detailed a recent lupus flare-up, as well as a high fever.

“My BP was very elevated 165/112, grabe yung lupus flare, my fever was 40.2 and my face was purplish red. Ang pakiramdam parang nasusunog na,” Kris explained, adding that her lungs were among the most affected due to the complexity of her current health issues and challenges.

 

“My lungs ang pinaka nahihirapan because of my multiple and very rare autoimmune diseases.”

In a heartbreaking reveal, Kris also shared that her list of diagnoses has now grown to 10.

“I now have 9 diagnosed autoimmune diseases, plus a 10th that came as a result of…” she wrote, leaving her message unfinished but heavy with emotion, greatly worrying her fans as well.

Kris’ candid update quickly went viral, prompting a wave of love and prayers from fans and fellow celebrities, as positive comments of support poured in on Instagram, with messages such as:
