They will not start the year at full strength, however.

Romy Gonzalez, Masataka Yoshida, Brayan Bello, Kutter Crawford and Lucas Giolito all appear to not start the season on the 26-man roster due to various injuries. Players such as Josh Winckowski, Vaughn Grissom and Luis Guerrero also got sent down to Triple-A to start the season in Worcester.

The Red Sox finally make the best baseball decision for their franchise player. Devers, who just played his first game of the spring Saturday, moves to designated hitter to focus on his elite offensive prowess with Bregman taking over at third base.

The Red Sox have their ace in Crochet to make the start on Opening Day. Houck follows and Buehler could be the team’s X-Factor in the first month of the season.
