Inside Oilers source claims Jack Michaels will be on playoff TV Broadcasts this season

The 2 Mutts Hockey Podcast has accurately broken multiple Oilers stories and NHL news this season, and are now reporting that Michaels will be joining the National TV broadcast in the playoffs very soon.

This season, Sportsnet quietly made the move to put Michaels and DeBrusk onto National games on Wednesday and Saturday nights. Formerly, Harnarayan Singh had that role with the Oilers, and now is assigned to the Flames.

Even though Michaels wasn’t on the TV for last year’s amazing playoff run, he was still doing games on the radio that translated to some incredible calls. Michaels’ call as the Oilers clinched a Cup Final berth was truly incredible.

Michaels joined the NHL as a broadcaster with the Edmonton Oilers on the radio in 2010, and moved into Sportsnet’s TV booth in 2021.

He quickly captivated Oilers fans with his passionate and energetic calls, and brings so much enthusiasm that even casual fans are drawn into the pulsating hockey.

It’s incredible that Oilers fans will get to enjoy their homer broadcaster through the playoffs, and Michaels can bring the energy to every hockey fan watching the Oilers’ highly anticipated playoff return.
