We just got a nice surprise live from the CN Sports Complex in Brossard, involving Montreal Canadiens prospect

, always on the ice and refusing to take even a single day off, and it looks like Jacob Fowler is similar.

Literally just minutes after signing his entry-level contract with the Montreal Canadiens, he’s getting to work.

We didn’t have to wait long to see him in a Canadiens uniform:

He’s already working, notably with Joshua Roy, and we love to see it.

We didn’t expect it this morning, but it’s obviously a very nice surprise.

Fowler could’ve easily taken a few days off, especially since his playoff run in the NCAA just ended-but no.

He’s getting right to work.

Jacob, 20 years old, posted an impressive 25-7-2 record this season with a 1.63 goals-against average and a .940 save percentage in the NCAA.

The Rocket announced that Fowler will practice with the farm team for the first time on Wednesday, April 9, in Laval.
