Hurts has one thing in common with MJ now, having won a championship with the Philadelphia Eagles last month. Of course, he’s going to need five more Super Bowl wins to be compared to the former NBA superstar, but he’s still in rarified air after the season he’s just had.

The Eagles quarterback is a Jordan athlete, so he’s pretty familiar with Michael, yet you don’t see the GOAT doing this sort of thing too often, which is why it was a huge deal for Hurts, who was spotted enjoying dinner with the six-time NBA champion over the weekend.

“Two of the best to ever do it 🐐,” Dov Kleiman wrote as part of his caption, sharing the photo to X on Sunday.

There weren’t many fans who agreed with the Dov Kleiman assessment.

“Hurts is a Goat now? But kudos to being able to eat with the Goat,” one wrote.

“Don’t ever compare Jordan and hurts. Thats like Costco and Walmart,” another chimed in.

“Hurts is good, not one of the best. Has the chance to be but not yet,” someone else said.

“Man seeing MJ in public is crazy,” said a fourth.

Jalen Hurts made a lot of people look silly this year, but it appears he will need to do a bit more to convince everyone of his prowess.
