NBACentel is used to having the NBA community going crazy, but this time around, it’s because of their shocking demise.

The popular parody page that has fooled thousands suddenly got banned on X, formerly “Twitter.”

That’s what happened on Wednesday, and it sent everyone into mourning.

The popular NBA parody account was removed from X on Wednesday for refusing a “parody” label.

Last month, X officially launched its new “Parody” account labels, which aim to reduce confusion around what’s being shared, and by whom, in the app.

NBACentel was one of many parody accounts that did not add it to their account. They paid the ultimate price by having their account banned.

Fans couldn’t believe it.

“Time to raise NBACentel’s jersey to the Twitter rafters. We’ll never see a talent like this one ever again 🕊️,” one fan said.

“Dad, tell me about NBACentel’s 2024-2025 run,” another fan added.

“can’t believe they packed NBACentel 💔💔,” another heartbroken fan stated.

“dad tell me what happened to nbacentel,” a fan posted with a video of Kevin Durant becoming emotional.

“They finally got Centel. A tragic day in NBA Twitter history,” one final fan commented.

NBACentel Has Fooled Many With Their Antics

The explosion of social media has impacted sports, including pages that help to send out correct and false information.

The NBA community on X has dealt with misinformation like no other sport since it’s largely welcomed.

X accounts have done their best to fool some fans into believing false rumors.

Nobody has done it better than NBACentel.

Unfortunately, it appears it is all over as various accounts within the NBA community on X noticed Wednesday that the account had a “posts aren’t loading right now” message beneath it.

That is a sign that it is either banned or restricted.
