The 26-year-old has been sidelined with an oblique injury since Jan 25, when he was on the receiving end of a “weird cross check” in a game against the Montreal Canadiens.

The Swiss forward centered a line with Timo Meier and Stefan Noesen at the morning skate ahead of the game against the Stars.

Through 51 games this season, Hischier has 24 goals, tied for the team lead with Jack Hughes and 43 points.
