The New York Yankees have a proud fanbase, irrespective of their loss in the World Series. It’s like the old saying: “You either hate them, or you love them.” The Bronx Bombers have one of the most loyal fanbases. They never fail to express their frustration, even to their own team. Likewise, they do not support players who pick other teams over them.

Juan Soto received a lot of hate after picking the Mets over the Yanks. While Soto had his reasons, most fans were unhappy with his choice. Some fans started burning Soto’s jersey in pinstripes. Yet, a few of them still seem to love him. During a recent game between the Red Sox and the Mets, A Yankee fan held a board saying, “The Bronx still loves you Soto.”

Yankees fans took to social media to call out their own fan for his message to Soto. Here’s a look at some fan reactions on X.

“He’s not one of us,” wrote one fan.

“Not a Yankee fan,” one fan replied.

“No they don’t lol,” one fan chimed in.

“speak for ya self bro,” another fan chimed in.

Yankees Hope To Make A World Series Run Without Juan Soto
Soto helped the team progress to the World Series last year. The All-Star had an incredible run with his short stint in the Bronx. He stood up for the team when they needed him the most. The Yanks tried their best to retain the slugger with a long-term contract.

Soto’s choice to join the Mets has left the Yanks without a top slugger. However, they brought in Cody Bellinger and Paul Goldschmidt. The Yanks hope to make a World Series run without Soto in 2025.

Yankees captain Aaron Judge is determined to secure his first World Series title. While they are preparing for the upcoming season, the Yankees are facing trouble with injured pitchers.
