It’s a sad day for Blue Jays fans as their superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr. might leave Toronto for good. Guerrero gave the franchise a deadline to match his needs for a possible extension. The franchise offered him $340 million, almost $100 million short of Vladdy’s demands.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Says He Gave The Blue Jays His Numbers
Guerrero was unhappy with the Blue Jays’ proposal. The slugger mentioned that he gave the team his numbers, but they have not moved forward. Guerrero’s recent video shows he’s ready to move on from the Blue Jays.
“We did not get to an agreement today. They have their numbers, I have my numbers, but you know it’s just business. I always say things happen, but we are all good,” Guerrero said.
Ross Atkins said he’s trying his best to retain Guerrero but has shifted his focus to Bo Bichette. Missing out on Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will be a hard blow for the team. Rumors are already speculating around the slugger even before the season has started.
