Bill Belichick’s 24-Year-Old Girlfriend Jordon Hudson Makes Direct Plea To President Donald Trump
Bill Belichick’s girlfriend Jordon Hudson has made a direct plea to President Donald Trump following a key loss of funding.
The 24-year-old former cheerleader has been in the news a lot lately, given her relationship with the former NFL coach. And she’s now making a case to have the Maine Sea Grant reinstated, as federal funding has gotten cut.
The decision could result in the loss of at least 20 jobs in Maine, while hundreds, and possibly thousands, who depend on fishing for their livelihoods could also be affected.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration told the University of Maine it would discontinue its funding on Friday. The two organizations had partnered in the 1970s, but according to officials in Washington, D.C., they “are no longer relevant to the focus of the Administration’s priorities and program objectives.”
Jordon Hudson Takes To Social Media In An Attempt To Reach Donald Trump
Hudson, who hails from Maine, wasn’t happy to learn of this and has since taken to Instagram to ask Trump to reconsider.
“The news came like a tsunami to the Forum on Saturday that the federal funding program “Maine Sea Grant”, was abruptly cut. This program has been a pillar of support for marine research, sustainability, and economic growth for more than 50 years,” she wrote.
“The forum floors filled with tears and fears as if everyone were drowning, and we were.This decision only amplified the uncertainty, anxiety and existential fears that already plague the fishermen of Maine.It was the reckless regulatory decisions by government officials with no stake in the decisions that forced my 9th generation fishermen father out of this industry more than 15 years ago. Please do not put others through what we have been through.”
“I plea to you @potus @whitehouse @realdonaldtrump on behalf of the fishermen, please reinstate the Maine Sea Grant or present a proper alternative,” she concluded.
Bill Belichick and Donald Trump are thought to be good pals, so maybe the new UNC head coach could throw in a word for his partner.
Should he do so and somehow get the President to oversee a return of funding, the entire state of Maine would be in his debt.
