Former MLB star AJ Pierzynski mentioned that the Dodgers star is one of the most underpaid players in the league. A few people will certainly beg to differ with Pierzynski since some things Ohtani is overpaid for. According to the former star, Ohtani brings great value to the team.

“He’s the most underpaid guy on the planet right now,” Pierzynski said via Foul Territory.
Likewise, Scott Braun, another host on Foul Territory, agreed with Pierzynski.
“He might be the biggest bargain in sports contract history; even if he’s just a hitter, let’s wipe out the pitching, top five bat, and he’s bringing the team a ton of money and a ton of success; that’s what you sign a guy up for,” Braun said.
