The Miss World 2025 competition is now in full swing in India, with Krishnah Gravidez proudly representing the Philippines.
The 24-year-old beauty queen aims to secure the country’s long-sought second Miss World crown, 12 years after Megan Young became the first Filipina to win the title in 2013.
On May 5, 2025, Krishnah attended a send-off party where she spoke about her preparations for the international pageant.
Rather than feeling nervous, she was brimming with confidence, fueled by the overwhelming love and support from everyone present at the party.
“I feel like it’s not nervousness,” she told the press when asked about her feelings.
“When I stepped into this [room], I just felt the strong support.
“And most especially the love of the people who’s been with me all throughout. Of course, the pageant media as well.”
Krishnah added: “I have to be honest that I didn’t expect, like, this huge support from everyone.

“Because all throughout my preparations, we’ve been quietly working together with my team. And now that we’re here, we’re stepping out of that core team.
“I felt the love. And I felt like it was shown as nervousness because I was shivering.
“But then again, it’s just the love that I think that I can bring to India that will propel us in getting that Miss World crown.”
Krishnah dedicated nearly 10 months of preparation for the pageant after winning the local pageant in July 2024.
And she is grateful for the support of her team in the Miss World Philippines Organization, who have been instrumental in her journey.
She said: “The preparation was great. I’m on top of everything.
“We’ve made sure that each fast-track challenge, each aspect of the preparation, is finalized.
“And I’m really grateful for the team that I have right now. They’ve been helping me a lot in terms of my styling, my communication skills training.

we’ve worked a lot with my ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ project. Because that is the heart of this journey.
“That is the heart of this project. And I can’t wait to unveil all of that in India.”
KRISHNAH GRAVIDEZ: BEAUTY WITH A PURPOSE
Krishnah focused on the Beauty with a Purpose fast-track challenge during her comprehensive pageant preparation.
In the Miss World competition, candidates participate in fast-track categories — Beauty With a Purpose, Multimedia Challenge, Sports Challenge, Talent, and Top Model.
Winners of these categories automatically advance to the next round.
For this aspect of the competition, Krishnah launched her advocacy campaign, “Color the World with Kindness,” aimed at spreading kindness, empowering the youth, and assisting the underprivileged.
Discussing her campaign, Krishnah said: “As many of you may or may not know, I lead a charity organization. It’s called Color to World with Kindness.
“So, at first, it began with a simple vision just to pay forward the kindness that we’ve received. But through time, as years flew, it became bigger.

“We’ve had a few volunteers. It was led by youth. All of us are youth. Most of us are working students.
“And then we’ve partnered with a lot of organizations which promotes youth empowerment, education, and animal welfare.”
Krishnah takes pride in her advocacy campaign’s achievements.
She launched fundraising campaigns for the underprivileged in Irisan, her hometown in Baguio City, through online selling, a venture she initially pursued during the pandemic before starting her pageant journey.
“We focused on Irisan, Baguio City, because Irisan is the most vulnerable barangay in Baguio City.
“And I’ve seen how much help they needed.
“And as someone who believes that every child should have a nurturing environment, I felt like I needed to step up.
“My charity organization needed to step up.
“That’s why during Panagbenga Festival, we’ve fundraised almost 200,000 pesos in one event by selling clothes, which is something that I did during the pandemic.”

To increase funding, Krishnah said she dedicated 20 percent of her earnings from pageant-event appearances to her campaign projects.
“And every time that I have a job, or like I go to different places to charge a pageant, I… nagtatabi ako ng 20 percent of that.
“And I put it in my charity organization fund.”
Through personal contributions from her salary and fundraising efforts, Krishnah and her volunteer team have successfully completed projects, including the rehabilitation of several daycare centers and providing small business packages for mothers.
Krishnah said: “Right now, I can proudly say that we’ve helped rebuild and repaint seven daycare centers there.
“We have provided small business packages for mothers, the most vulnerable mothers there.”
According to Krishnah, one of her proudest achievements is renovating a home for a single mom and her children, a project that holds special significance for the beauty queen as she was raised by a single mom herself.

Krishnah told the press: “And this is something that I’m really emotional about…
“So with this project, we were able to renovate a home. We were able to renovate completely a home.
“A home of a mother, single mother, raising three beautiful children, working as a housemaid.
“And now, those children has now a comfortable space.
“They are, you know, free to explore and be creative and just be children because sometimes the vulnerable communities of children, they will just live to survive.
“They won’t have the chance to just be children. And that’s the main objective of Color the World with Kindness.
“It is to create a culture of kindness and most especially to create nurturing communities, not only in the Philippines, but hopefully for the whole wide world.”
KRISHNAH GRAVIDEZ: THE NEXT MISS WORLD
Krishnah firmly believes that deserves the Miss World crown.
She said that her life experiences have endowed her with quiet courage, a trait she shares with underserved communities.

And she aims to inspire young girls by turning this courage into a testament of determination.
“You know, my family once told me that they see me as Miss World because I know the real world.
“And at first, I wasn’t convinced because why would they say that?
“But then again, looking back on my experiences, what we’ve been through, what I’ve been through personally — the love and the losses, the triumphs, the ups and downs from poverty to freedom — my greatest strength has always been my quiet courage…
“And that quiet courage is, I feel, like, the common quality most communities — especially the underserved and underprivileged — possess.
“And working closely with my community in Irisan, Baguio City, I’ve seen and heard it, experienced it first hand.
“And if I will be crowned as the next Miss World, it will be my greatest opportunity to turn that quiet courage into my loudest testament of determination, hoping to inspire everyone, especially young girls that they too can dream and live that dream.”
