Stephen Curry has been sinking three-pointers for so long that nobody noticed how he would look while dunking. The Golden State Warriors superstar went all in against the Philadelphia 76ers but unfortunately couldn’t save the team from defeat.

The Warriors experienced a disappointing setback and lost 126-119 to the 76ers, which ended their five-game winning streak. Despite entering the match as one of the league’s hottest teams, the 76ers offensive play resulted in their downfall. However, Curry threw down his first dunk in over six years, and the crowd went crazy.

The milestone dunk took place in the middle of the fourth quarter, where a brief series of plays led to Curry sprinting down the court. After Tyrese Maxey missed a 3-pointer, Buddy Hield stripped Guerschon Yabusele of the ball and sent it sailing toward Curry. The three-point machine was wide open on the other end and made a beautiful jump leading to the dunk.

Despite the team’s effort in saving every little time, they couldn’t avoid the defeat. And the enraged fans put it all on Draymond Green. Though Green did not hesitate in his contribution, Curry’s major showing overshadowed his efforts.

Fans Blast Draymond Green After Stephen Curry Throws Historic Dunk In Warriors Loss

Curry, the all-time leading 3-point shooter, made the most efforts for the Bay Area team. Interestingly, his last dunk came during a game against the Sacramento Kings on February 21, 2019. It made this slam a significant and nostalgic milestone in his career. Along with Curry, Green added 13 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists as he came just near to a triple-double.

Despite his efforts, he had to bear the major criticism for the loss.

“Make Draymond and Moody shoot 1000 layups each tomorrow,” a fan commented.

“Curry dunking, Cena turning heel. WHAT IS GOING ON TODAY?!” another fan wrote.

“Good to see him dunk again,” a comment read.

“Curry and LeBron aging backwards lmfao,” wrote another fan.

“HAHAH GOOD FOUL DRAYMOND GOOD LUCK WITH THE CHIP,” a fan blasted Green.

The loss brought the Warriors’ record to 32-28 for the season, and the need to bounce back has only intensified. Their collective efforts were insufficient against a 76ers team that had been on a nine-game losing streak. The game was particularly frustrating for Warriors fans, many of whom voiced their discontent regarding the team’s performance.
