In the last few minutes, we received news from Brendan Gallagher and his wife, Emma Fortin.

As you know, Gallagher recently temporarily stepped away from the team’s regular activities for personal reasons.

He missed two practices, and shortly after, it was announced that the young Fortin/Gallagher couple had welcomed their first child.

A magical moment, and it was Brendan himself who shared the news in a press conference.

Earlier today, Gallagher’s wife, Emma Fortin, made a beautiful post (her very first) to announce the birth of their baby girl.

We are so happy for them and wish them all the happiness in the world with their beautiful little Everly.

As you can imagine, Emma’s post received many reactions, including from well-known names within the Montreal Canadiens community, such as the wife of captain Nick Suzuki.

 

Emma has always been very involved in the community, and just as Brendan is embracing his role as a father, I am sure his wife will be an incredible mother.
