The Los Angeles Lakers recently faced off against the Los Angeles Clippers. And continuing the recent good work, LeBron James and Co. clinched a 106-102 victory. While this victory pushed them to the fourth position in the Western Conference, the Lakers vs. Clippers game made headlines for an entirely different reason. A female referee officiating the game decided to mimic LeBron James and hit his famous ‘Bron-Shrug.’
In a video that has gone viral, a play from the Clippers resulted in the ball going out of play. Interestingly, instead of dropping to the court, the ball directly hit a female referee standing at the sideline. Trying to shrug off the incident, the referee immediately turned around and performed the ‘Bron-Shrug.’ While this action drew loud cheers from the crowd, the referee soon returned back to her normal position of officiating.
Thus, the impact that LeBron James has on the NBA as a whole is quite evident. Despite his age of 40, James still continues to be one of the biggest crowd pullers of the league. Meanwhile, looking at the incident, the social media quickly went abuzz.
